Martin Garrix Readies 14-Track MARTY, Blending Dance With Star Collaborators

Dutch producer Martin Garrix is preparing to release MARTY, a 14-track album set for March 5, 2027, that pairs electronic production with pop songwriting and high-profile guests. The record marks a shift in how Garrix presents himself, placing his own voice at the center of the project. He announced it at a Spotify event ahead of Amsterdam Dance Event, where selected fans heard previews.

A Release Built on Big Names

The album features collaborations with Madonna, U2, Ed Sheeran, and Spanish singer Aitana. Those names give MARTY a wide reach beyond the dance-music audience that followed Garrix's earlier work. Blending his electronic background with guests from pop and rock signals a deliberate effort to reach listeners who may not follow the club scene.

A Stronger Personal Voice

Rather than relying mainly on electronic production, Garrix will sing throughout the album. U2 frontman Bono helped him develop his vocals and contributed to the songwriting, according to the source reporting. The lyrical themes, as described, center on growing up in the spotlight, dealing with fame, and sustaining relationships and lasting love.

Selecting From Years of Work

Garrix chose the final 14 tracks from more than 400 songs developed over several years. The title refers to DJ Marty, the name he used when he first began performing as a child. MARTY follows his 2022 album SENTIO, and its reception will show whether the pop-leaning direction resonates with listeners beyond his established fan base.
